My 8 yo son has a very loud screecing tic. We call it the terrydactyl dinosaur. He reports not doing this tic at school, so he does it when he gets home. I know that telling him to stop will only make it increase. Yesterday I told him it was ok to do this, but to walk out the front door and screech. I have been looking all over the internet for suggestions and have come up empty. What can my husband and I do, if anything, to deal with this particular tic that is driving us up a wall?
