I often wonder of others afflicted. TS has doubtless been my ugly companion all my life. As long as I can remember a variety of manifestations evidenced
themselves over the years almost exclusively facial tics of one form or another. The tics migrated from one to another but they were always there and it's
always been a constant struggle to suppress them; hiding them has always been unacheivable. Youth wasn't easy but it wasn't terrible either, I made up

Hi I'm fairly new to this forum and very new to TS. Our son hasn't been diagnosed yet and we seem to be going around in circles at the moment.
Anyway, I was wondering if there was anyone else from Australia on this forum and possibly from QLD Fraser Coast area. I'd love to be able to chat to
someone else who knows a bit more about this condition and how it's viewed over here. I know that it's not seen as a disability so the schools

Until about 3 days ago our DS didn't seem aware of his tics and then overnight this changed. He developed a new tic which involved scrunching his right
eye and a sort of squint/frown/grimace type action which he does every few seconds. Yesterday morning I looked over at him watching the TV and he looked like
he was going to cry, when I asked him what was wrong he said "I never used to do this and now I do it all the time and I don't like it". Now
