I'm a 31 year old male. I live in Colorado. I've dealt with what I believe is Tourette's Syndrome all my life.

It started as a very young child. My earliest symptom was an obsession with rubbing very soft fabric between my fingers. It has really helped me control my tics and I have started to lose some of the weight I put on as a result of the Orap. Win/win in my book.
My questions are:
a) Has anyone else tried Topamax? What were your experiences?
b) If you have tried it, have you been able to come off of your other meds? It's great to have found a message board like this. Frankly my daughter's tourettes wasn't a big problem for many years as she was diagnosed with a mild case back at age 6. Well at age 13 now, her TS has "blossomed" to coprolalia. Oh joy! Even though I support her 100%, this tic is a tough one I'll admit.
