will make his Tics worse! not to mention all the side effects..... Last year in school my son had a evaluation to see if he quallfied for a 504 plan .. but

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi! We have an appt to see the ped neurologist in the next few weeks as we have clued into our 7y son&#39;s tics for the past 3 months.  I&#39;ve read up quite
a bit but still have questions that I think other parents might be able to answer just as well as the neurologist.  So far we have not noticed any

ticcing at all anymore.  But I noticed something  recently that  reminds me of some things I&#39;ve read about strep.  DD had a cold followed by the flu (which

			<description><![CDATA[ I have a 3.5 year old son who has recently began vocal and motor tics <em>very</em> frequently --- his vocal tic is a constant throat clearing and then
sometimes a short hmmm sound after the throat clearing --- his motor tics are pulling at his shirt shoulders, wiping his mouth, touching his face, wedgie
adjustments, pulling at his shorts --- also very frequently.  I am literally sick to my stomach and very depressed over this.

			<description><![CDATA[ I am so thankful that I have found this website.  I have felt like the only parent in the world that is trying to find answers and more information.  I have a
10 year old son with TS.  He has been diagnosed for a little over a year. I knew he had it longer, but to deal with his ADHD, the psychiatrist wanted the

The doctor said that the tremors could be fragile x but we will look in to that at the next appointment. At this moment he is not diagnosed with ts but she

My son has had such a &quot;quiet&quot; tic time all summer and now after having a serious sinus infection he has been on antibiotics for weeks and his tics
are ramping up again! Mostly his head shake and vocals. Is there a connection? He also is now suffering from the chicken pox and with that a bad head ache made

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi there, I have an 8yr old daughter who was diagnosed with Tourettes over 3 years ago.  She generally had fairly mild but constant vocal tics that waxed and
waned over a three to 6 month cycle.

We have, however, noticed that it has now been about 18 months since her last noticeable bout of vocal ticcing.  Is this normal - to go for a long period
without ticcing?
